Speech & Language Therapist

Exciting opportunities have become available for enthusiastic, dynamic Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists, to join the Adult Speech & Language Therapy service working across acute and community settings in Northamptonshire.

The successful candidates will have opportunity to work in the North and the South of the county as there are sessions available in the community in the North and The South as well as at the Acute Hospital in the North.

The session split is:

0.3 sessions at Kettering General Hospital

0.2 community session at Highfield Clinical Care Centre

0.44 at St Marys community Clinic

Main duties of the job

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist who is able to demonstrate a passion for patient-based care, evidence based practice, personal learning and development as well as excellent communication skills to contribute to team working.

There are excellent CPD opportunities within a friendly and supportive countywide team. There is a strong clinical supervision network, annual appraisal, and opportunity to be involved in our SLT service clinical forums.

Due to the community nature of this post, a car driver is essential.
