Job summary

Due to internal promotion within the team, we are excited to be advertising for an enthusiastic 8a Clinical Psychologist/Family Therapist to join our growing CYP Community Eating Disorder Service.

We are an established team working with children and young people up to 18 who are experiencing significant eating difficulties, along with their families. As well as those presenting with anorexia and bulimia, we also have an established ARFID assessment and intervention pathway and a developing pathway for those whose eating difficulties are associated with emotion dysregulation, trauma and attachment insecurities.

You will be joining an established group of Clinical Psychologists and Family Therapists within the team as well as other professional colleagues including a Consultant Psychiatrist, Physical Health Nurses, Dieticians, Nurse Therapists and Occupational Therapists.

A welcome award of £5000 is offered for this post, payable within the first 18 months of employment

Main duties of the job

You will hold a caseload and provide formulation-driven and evidence-based interventions, offered face-to-face and online and with individuals, families and groups depending on your expertise. You will contribute to MDT case discussions, provide input into care plans and offer supervision to colleagues both within your profession and across the MDT.
