Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Estates Technical Services (ETS) team to assist with the provision of a professional technical and operational service to Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and all contracted partner organisations within the Estates Technical Services (ETS) function.
Main duties of the job
To manage the operational maintenance team in the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance of the Hospital estate. Assist with managing the operational team resource levels, technical competencies, service quality, timeliness of delivery, emergency response, individual's development, team health & wellbeing.
Responsible in conjunction with the Senior Operations Manager for ensuring the operational team recognise, adopt, and adhere to all Trust policies, procedures, and systems in place to manage Health and Safety and ensure a safe environment.

- oONC/HNC Level qualification in relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- oQualifications / specialist knowledge of building structures / engineering services
- oPractical experience of undertaking the physical Mechanical or Electrical aspects of the Operations teams day to day work supported by an appropriate apprenticeship or formal training
- The post holder must be able to demonstrate management/Supervisory experience in a large multi service organisation and a proven successful track record delivering within timescales and budget in a relevant building services environment.
