We are looking for a dynamic, keen clinician to join the Orthodontic, Oral and Maxillofacial teams and broaden their clinical experience. The post includes on call at a 1 in 4 frequency for OMFS weekdays but not after 9pm. The unit provides a comprehensive range of services including oral surgery, orthodontics, cleft, implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial surgery, with the exception of major head and neck oncology.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied and interesting job in which the post holder will take part in theatre sessions outpatient clinics and minor oral surgery under local anaesthetic. The post holder will also be expected to assist in the day-to-day care of patients on the ward. This will entail some clerking, preparation of operating lists and attendance on the daily ward round
