Job summary
Are you looking to progress your career and improve your leadership skills whilst almost maintaining a patient-facing role? We have the job for you! We are expanding our clinical senior team and are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic pharmacist to provide clinical expertise and leadership, to our surgical specialties. This will include Orthopaedics, Burns and Plastics. The post holder will work closely with our Lead pharmacist- Surgery to provide a high-quality patient-focused clinical pharmacy service to our Surgery division, developing pharmacy services and mentoring our pharmacists on their foundation pathway.
Main duties of the job
The pharmacist we are looking for will be a strong clinician, organised, hardworking and dedicated with great communication skills and a passion for developing services. You will need to have a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma (or equivalent experience) and ideally be a current non-medical prescriber or willing to work towards the qualification. The role will focus on providing a clinical pharmacy service to surgical wards, continually improving the clinical pharmacy service within our Surgery division whilst also working to develop our foundation and trainee pharmacist workforce.
