Job summary
The PMO Manager will be a highly visible role working closely with the EPR Programme Director, EPR Programme Manager and Programme Board. The post holder will use their extensive programme management office experience to manage the PMO functions across a range of strategic activities spanning multiple organisations. They will provide governance, support, and control across the Shared EPR Programme.
Working with internal and external stakeholders, the postholder will help drive the success of the programme. They will develop good working relationships with Trust and Programme Executive leadership, the central Programme team and programme teams across the shared EPR landscape.
Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the coordinated management of a major digital programme comprising of multiple related digital and IT projects, directed toward strategic business and other organisational objectives across the whole of the Trust's activities in line with the NHS Internet First Policy and local GWH and IT strategy
The postholder will act as a senior advisor on the organisation's Shared Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme and will be committed to exploring and using analytical and digital innovations and be passionate about developing the Trust's capabilities through the existing and future EPR to improve service delivery, patient experience and the sustainability of the Trust and care system and oversee the management and delivery of benefit realisation.
