Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of AAA Screening Programme Manager
The purpose of the programme is to enable the early detection of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm in men aged 65 order to save lives. The Programme commenced in 2013. The administration office is based in Salisbury District Hospital and clinic venues are located across Dorset and Wiltshire. The Health challenges for the region are engaging with the areas of deprivation as well as rural areas. Ensuring a high quality, person-centred screening programme that improves health, without increasing health inequalities is our goal.

Main duties of the job
To manage and deliver the Dorset and Wiltshire AAA Screening Programme, one of the AAA National Screening Programmes which is run in accordance with the National Service Specification, Quality Standards, Failsafe Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures together with the requirements of NHS England (NHSE) Commissioning Organisations for Bath, Gloucester, Swindon and Wiltshire (BGSW) and Wessex.
