Job summary
We have a full time position open for audio typing support for the Surgical Division, including ENT, Urology, Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology.
Part time hours may also be considered.
This role involves providing basic administrative support to the secretarial teams, thereby contributing to providing an efficient and comprehensive secretarial and administrative service for the department and clinicians.
Main duties of the job
- To provide audio typing to the Surgical Division, maintaining good working relationships and communications with the Consultant(s) and other members of the team, as well as with colleagues and health care professionals internally and externally.
- Producing clinic letters and other documentation via Bighand application
- Ensuring letters are processed and sent within a timely manner.
- To provide additional admin support as and when required.
- Working in a team to meet the needs of the department.
- Ensuring the workload is prioritised and managed efficiently
