Job summary
To be first point of contact and provide a high quality, efficient and effective reception in both Main Theatres and the Day Surgery Unit.
The hours are 07:00-16:30 - Mon, Tues , Thur & Fri in either Main Theatres or Day Surgery Unit reception. Uniforms are not provided therefore, you would be expected to dress in an appropriate manner for forward facing patient contact.
You will be encouraged and supported to develop your skills within the team to ensure that an exceptional level of reception service is always provided to both areas.
Main duties of the job
You will:
- enjoy being part of a team that prides itself on delivering compassionate and respectful care to both patients and their carers in a professional manner.
- have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to establish and maintain working relationships with staff at all levels from various departments within the Trust, including external contractors.
- have experience or knowledge of IT systems, however full training will be given to the right candidate.
