As the Associate Director of Workforce Planning and Workforce Systems you will be responsible for the development of a rolling Strategic Workforce Plan designed to meet the need of patients and the wider population we serve. As the lead for the key systems that enable this work, you will be responsible for the implementation and roll out of new modules and services designed to improve productivity and efficiency in our workforce planning and delivery to enable Salisbury Foundation Trust to realise our strategic aims and vision.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work closely with the SFT strategy team and colleagues across the Divisional management teams to design the workforce plan for STF, and more widely with partners across the Bath and NE Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Integrated Care Board and Acute Hospital Alliance to develop workforce planning across the system. Strong negotiating and influencing skills will enable you to manage this broad range of stakeholders.
With excellent project delivery skills and working to the CPO as SRO for Strategic Workforce planning, you will complete the roll out of Health Roster and ESR establishment control to enable improved management of the Trust's workforce and business intelligence systems.
By understanding the NHS Future Workforce solution you will work with procurement and digital colleagues to drive progress towards the national people digital vision and create a digital workforce systems strategy for Salisbury which meets People digital standards and levels of attainment.
You will provide compassionate and inclusive leadership, empowering staff to innovate and deliver effective solutions to workforce planning. By ensuring clear and consistent strategic direction, priorities will be managed, and high standards of corporate governance adhered to.
