Job summary
We need a dynamic and organised individual to join our small team to provide support to wards and departments using Healthroster ( a system to electronically manage staff rotas, sickness and leave). Your working day will be spent using a computer, so the ability to use IT systems is essential, full training will be given on internal packages. You must be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload in an organised and methodical style. You will also be required to answer the office phone which often requires troubleshooting issues or advising staff with general queries/account issues so you need to have a good telephone manner and enjoy speaking to people.
This post is currently only being offered as a secondment due to a business plan being required to increase/restructure team (more information can be gained at interview process) but there will be the opportunity to apply for substantive posts once this is completed.
Main duties of the job
- To import staff details from the Trusts Electronic Staff Record (ESR) on a minimum of a weekly basis to ensure the E-Roster system accurately reflects staff details to enable effective rostering and reporting.
- To undertake workforce movements / leavers and joiners reports along with professional registration updates
- To deal appropriately with issues and queries from all levels of staff regarding the accuracy of staff details and electronic rostering records; resolve when appropriate & ensure HR processes are followed e.g. recording of staff leavers, sickness, maternity leave etc
Friday - flexible in day off - would be 8-4 or 9-5 hours
