The Psychiatric Liaison Service is dynamic and dedicated service, committed to providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals in the local hospital trust with acute psychiatric presentations.
We are looking for someone to join the team who is able to provide strong leadership and clinical oversight, guidance and support to the wider team.

Main duties of the job
As Deputy Team Manager, you will provide clinical oversight and leadership to the team working closely with the team manager, consultant psychiatrists and clinical lead for older adults.
The responsibilities of the job include:
- Providing day to day management and supervision to clinicians.
- Supporting the ongoing development and performance management of the team.
- Deputising for the Team Manager as required.
- Contributing to monitoring team performance through clinical audit.
- Support the team clinically including ability to function autonomously and competently at Band 7 level when undertaking assessments.
