The Neurodevelopmental Conditions Service (NDC) is one of the specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We offer diagnostic assessment of autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as other neuro-developmental conditions.
As a service, we work closely with Oxford University to lead on research opportunities. With the support of NHS England the NDC service are currently developing a new diagnostic ASD Adolescent assessment tool.
We're looking for a full time administrator to join our team, to support the amazing work we do.You'll have the opportunity to experience working in an established administrative team, while working alongside the clinical team. The support you provide goes a long way towards making a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families. This a full time role and office based. Please note this role does meet the criteria for sponsorship or work permit.
Main duties of the job
The CAMHS NDC team strongly believe that the context of the young person is fundamental to working with complexities and transdiagnostic presentation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support both the administration and clinical team, to offer the highest standard of care to the families and young people.
On a day-to-day basis, this will include organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the office, diary and post management, taking and typing minutes and other clerical duties.
Additionally, you will facilitate good communication and liaison with patients and their families, colleagues within the Trust and across other organizations. You will also be responsible for maintaining databases by collecting and inputting of data relating to Team activity and reporting information as necessary. You will be required to support in covering the reception desk 1 or 2 days a week.
