Job summary

To provide efficient administrative support to the 0-19 CYP Public Health Service for children, young people, and families, supporting the implementation of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme (HCP).To carry out this role effectively, the role holder should expect to work closely with all members of the 0-19 CYP Public Health Service to facilitate effective co-working. This is a demanding role requiring high levels of administrative and communication skills and the ability to work proactively as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide timely, comprehensive, administrative support to the management team of 0-19 CYP Public Health Service.
  • To provide leadership and administrative support to specialist Leads, responsible for service delivery in specialist areas, including NCMP and vision screening programmes.
  • Utilise a high level of IT skills to produce quality documentation to support the work of the team, producing data spreadsheets and audit reports in collaboration with the team, using the appropriate Microsoft software and adopting the Trust's corporate standards and style.
  • Support teams to meet national and local performance targets.
  • Prioritise workload, accordingly, following the 0-19 CYP Public Health Service, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, responding to the needs of service and the clients. in a timely manner and any problems are resolved.
