Job summary
We are recruiting for two Talent Acquisition Advisors to join us in transforming our recruitment team into a high-impact talent model, working with our managers to help them make great hiring decisions. You'll be key in helping us deliver against our people promises ensuring that we can attract the best talent in the market. This is a full time role based at our Littlemore HQ in Oxford with hybrid working arrangements.
You'll work closely with the senior TA partners, our HR Compliance and Onboarding Team and Recruitment Marketing & Events Team within our Resourcing function. You'll be a solutions-focussed business partner to managers across the Trust, ensuring that we are agile in meeting hiring needs and providing data and market insights to help fulfil vacancy requirements.
This is a great time to join the team as we roll out our new structure and processes where you will be in instrumental in shaping these and ensuring successful outcomes.
We are currently in the office, at recruitment events or onsite meeting our managers 1-2 days per week. We have hospital sites across our four counties (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire & NE Somerset). You'll be expected to support these where needed so the ability to travel freely between sites is required.

Main duties of the job
- Act as the designated Talent Acquisition Advisor for specified areas within the Trust, providing effective advice and support to recruiting managers in a timely and proactive manner
- Be a true business partner: create adverts, shape interview questions and recruitment processes that enable managers to hire the best talent at pace in order to meet the various pressures on staffing within the NHS. This will include pre screening candidates and presenting shortlisting to managers.
- Ensure each stage of the recruitment process is efficiently and accurately managed, from initial authorisation to appointment
- Promote a positive, proactive approach to recruitment in the Trust, acting as an advocate for open, fair and transparent recruitment practices
- Challenge where appropriate, advise on best hiring practices and help engage managers in making good hiring decisions that will promote us as an Employer of Choice across our regions
- Coach managers in the Trust's recruitment and selection procedures and the e-recruitment system on an ongoing basis in order to improve knowledge and expertise throughout the Trust
- Measuring and analysing key talent acquisition metrics that show continual improvement within the business on key aspects, identifying areas of concern and proactively addressing these
