Job summary

Do you have a genuine interest in helping to develop Mental Health services for adults in Oxfordshire?

We are looking for a Service Development Manager to join the Oxfordshire, BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire Mental Health Service Development team on a 12 month fixed term contract, to play a key role in embedding an organisation-wide change in how Oxford Health works with individuals with severe mental health problems. This work will involve supporting major change in operational service delivery and working alongside adult mental health teams and management to support improved ways of working.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the role is to provide flexible, knowledgeable and high quality leadership to a programme of change in adult mental health services in Oxfordshire.

To lead and facilitate thedevelopment ofa range of workstreams and projects for the Mental Health Service Development Team

Relationship building and developing effective working partnerships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure effective engagement in service development and change

Scoping, analysing and assessing local and national policy and legislation which will impact on services, summarising impact and implications for services and teams.

Planning and mobilising projects to deliver change, leading and oversight of projects, risk and issue management, reporting and monitoring, through the entire project lifecycle.
