Job summary

Are you an experienced HR generalist looking for a rewarding new role where you can make a difference to Oxford Health's People & OD strategy?

We are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join us on a 6-9 month contract (depending on start date) until August 2025 to provide expert HR guidance to line managers across the Trust with specific focus on implementing organisational change.

Virtual interviews and assessments for this role are scheduled to be held on 4 October 2024.

Main duties of the job

As our Senior HR Advisor you will support and provide specialist advice to staff and managers in all aspects of employee relations case work, sickness absence management and organisational change. You will provide expert advice to managers as well as undertaking activities to support the delivery of the Trust's People Plan such as upskilling Line Managers through the delivery of training.

Responsible to the HR Consultant you will provide an efficient, responsive, and professional HR advisory service, which will involve visiting sites across a wide geographical area. You will thrive on pace and complexity with high levels of resilience and positive attitude to support our services in their delivery of excellent and high quality patient care.

  • Significant demonstrable experience of Human Resources issues in a large complex organisation including sickness absence management, employment law and performance management issues, and intricate / multi-faceted employee relations issues.
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting the implementation of organisational change.

  • Formal training in Job Evaluation
