We are looking for a creative Charge Nurse to join the team here at Thames House.

Thames House is a 26 bed low secure unit for women with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder. Many of our service users have had experience of the criminal justice system in the past. The unit is split into a 10 bed high dependency unit and a 16 bed lower dependency unit.

We're an innovative and dedicated team that comprises of a large MDT.

This post attracts a RSU Lead of £1,446 per annum on top of your annual salary.

Main duties of the job

As a Charge Nurse you will work closely with the Unit's Modern Matron, Ward Manager and Clinical Nurse Lead. You will be an integral part of the MDT comprising of nursing, medical, psychology and occupational therapy team members. You will be able to develop your own practice, and support others to develop theirs.
