Job summary

The Estates and Facilities Department are currently seeking a Estate Manager.

You will manage a small internal maintenance team and external contractors and ensure that the buildings are maintained in a safe condition and that deadlines are met .

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and be able establish and nurture effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

These are full time roles which will require you working across the sites of the Trust and will include an on-call rota.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for effective internal and external communication, the delivery of all operational Estate's services and ensure that the estate is effectively managed and safe.

You will support the strong and visionary leadership of the departmental team and focus on delivering efficient and timely service, assess the performance of team members and attend regular training sessions and deliver training sessions to the workforce on key health and safety issues.

  • Degree/HNC in either a building related subject, electrical, mechanical or building services related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership and staff management skills

Desirable

  • Detailed knowledge of HTM requirements in relation to estate management
