Job summary
We are delighted to be able to offer a Trainee Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist post in Oxford Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) based in our Salisbury team in Wiltshire.
Applicants will have completed or be nearing completion of an Association of Child Psychotherapy pre-clinical training and ideally will have been offered a place on an ACP full clinical training to begin in September 2024.
The post is funded by NHS England to begin in September 2024. During the four-year training you will be based in clinic for 4 days per week and you will be funded to attend your training school for 1 day per week. Funding also covers analysis and training costs.
Main duties of the job
The role is to undertake a range of clinical work under supervision whilst undertaking a training at an ACP registered training school. The post holder will be expected to offer advice, consultancy and support to colleagues within the CAMHS team and wider service.
You will be joining a large group of child psychotherapists across Oxford Health who meet regularly for CPD and to discuss our work.
