Main duties of the job

  • Managing a varied and, at times, complex case load.
  • Providing evidence-based and client-centred occupational therapyAssessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions
  • Providing leadership for junior/non-registered staff through supervision and appraisal.
  • Participating in the planning, development, and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy service.
  • Being a key member of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contributing to the maintenance and development of the trust-wide Occupational Therapy service.
  • Actively participating in the education of occupational therapy students
  • Engaging in teaching/presentations of specialist skills for professional development.
