Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to be part of our established multidisciplinary team which provides primary care for people who experience various forms of homelessness in Oxford City. Based in a purpose-built medical centre in the heart of Oxford and working closely with local statutory and voluntary agencies, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Main duties of the job

As this is a unique post, we welcome applications from nurses who are looking to apply their existing nursing experience to an area of inclusion healthcare.

This part-time post (30 hours per week over four days - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) is designed to provide a supportive working atmosphere and to allow ample time for consultations with patients in a welcoming environment.

A willingness to learn about substance misuse and mental health issues is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely in a team with 3 other experienced nurses and will have the opportunities to frequently share learning with wider medical and MDT team.
