Job summary
We are recruiting now for Nurse Cadets to join us in September 2024.

- Studying one day per week
- Total hours 30 per week

Upon successful completion, we help you seek interviews for:
- Studying a Nursing Degree at Oxford Brookes University
- A Health Care Assistant job role at Oxford Health
Or
- A Trainee Nursing Associate Apprenticeship at Oxford Health

Main duties of the job
Nurse Cadets work on our wards caring for patients, at the same time as gaining a Diploma in Health and Social Care, completing their Care Certificate and working towards completing National Apprenticeship Standards by having a dedicated day of study each week. On the ward cadets learn the health care assistant role and will be involved with personal care, for example helping to wash, feed and toilet patients as determined by their need. They will be working alongside the multi disciplinary team, gaining an appreciation of their roles and supporting the collaborative approach to patient care.
