Job summary
Does working with a small team of nurses who work well together, in a supportive and friendly environment sound appealing?
The Children's Bladder and Bowel Service are seeking a self- motivated individual, with excellent organisational skills and a proven background in administration. The successful candidate will work alongside the team to provide vital administrative support.
Based at Witney Community Hospital the Children's Bladder and Bowel Service provide high- quality care for children and young people experiencing bladder and bowel problems registered with an Oxfordshire GP.
Main duties of the job
You will work autonomously to manage the administrative aspects of the service. Therefore you will need to manage your own workload, be organised and prioritise accordingly.
You will be the first point of contact for service users and their families via telephone and Email, therefore you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will have have proven competence in administrative roles and are familiar with and able to use Microsoft 365. This will enable you to undertake core tasks such as
- processing referrals
- making appointments
- managing clinic diaries
- ordering supplies
- managing stock
