Oxford Health Childrens Integrated Therapy service is looking for an Operational Manager & Professional Lead for the Physiotherapy Service within this Directorate.
You will work alongside the Service Manager and Head of Service and as part of the AHP Leadership Team in contributing to overall Directorate strategy/policy to ensure the Directorate delivers its quality, quality improvement, people, finance and performance objectives (in regard to the children's integrated therapy service)

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be accountable for and provide operational, clinical and professional leadership for the Physiotherapists within the Children's Integrated Therapy Service. They will work with the leadership team to ensure an efficient, high quality therapy service is delivered which is evidence-based and centred around the needs of the child/young person, working alongside the Service Manager and Head of Service to ensure that national and local commissioning priorities are met and the service is delivered within the identified financial envelope.
This role gives an opportunity to carry out direct clinical contact with children and young people to maintain practice through experience in order to maintain up to date professional knowledge, whilst providing professional leadership and operational management to the service. The post holder will ensure that relevant professional group are engaged in research, research development and evidence-based practice, utilising relevant outcome measures and profession specific standardised assessments.
Applicants will have a passion for working with children and young people from birth to 19 years across a wide range of disabilities and health conditions and be interested in co-producing pathways with our families and young people
The Childrens Integrated Therapy service is a countywide service across Oxfordshire and travel between sites is required.
