Job summary
This exciting new role will be a core component of the development of this innovative and forward-thinking service aimed at supporting individuals with a multitude of symptoms. You will support the clinicians (in conjunction with current Band 3 admin staff) in their day-to-day diary management, caseload support, liaising with primary and secondary, patients and carers with regards to their ongoing treatment, booking of online digital programmes and supporting in the data management and reporting both locally and nationally.
The Post COVID and ME/CFS service are currently joining forces to enable a more equitable service across Oxfordshire for this population. The service comprises of occupational therapists, physiotherapists psychologists, well-being practitioners, admin and is fully integrated with our medical colleagues in OUH.
Main duties of the job
This post is a key administrative role to support the day-to-day function of the Post COVID Rehabilitation Service and ME/CFS Service. It supports more than 1500 patients with complex conditions and diagnosis across the county of Oxfordshire.
The post holder will need to have a broad view of both services and integration of these to support the ongoing development of the pathways moving forward. The post holder needs to have an awareness of systems that can both support and aid clinicians in their day to day roles to aid an efficient and effective service delivery. The post holder will need to be flexible in their approach to changing landscapes and delivery expectations and have excellent written and communication skills.
They will need to have the ability to prioritise on a daily basis, multi task, use their own initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
