An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Oxford Pharmacy Store (OPS) Procurement team. We are looking to recruit someone who wishes to develop their knowledge, skills and experience and to support them to become a fully qualified and professional procurement specialist.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to lead risk management for OPS stock inventory (£50m+ - FY24), minimising any write-off of stock due to demand changes or expiry of stock. You will also be responsible for continuity in supply of current portfolio of 500+ medicines sourced from both NHS and commercial manufacturers, supporting OPS alignment with budget (£45M+ - FY24)

As part of the procurement team, you will monitor all suppliers and products against demand in the market, developing systems and controls to highlight where product sales are dropping, not being developed as expected or are exceeding expectations.
