If the answer to any of the questions above is 'yes', we would love you to consider joining our multi-disciplinary inpatient team at Cherwell ward, Fulbrook Centre at the Churchill Site. We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic Registered Nurse Associates to join our inpatient nursing team.
Cherwell Ward is an inpatient ward which assesses and treats females over the age of 65 who are experiencing severe mental ill health, and/or living with dementia. The ward has 17 individual bedrooms. We are looking for dedicated Nursing Associates committed to high quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
You should be enthusiastic, resourceful and caring, they should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal . You will need to demonstrate a good awareness of mental health and knowledge of working with Older Adults with Mental Health problems. In addition you will need to be flexible, motivated and adaptable in a challenging environment.
You will require a comprehensive knowledge of the physical health conditions that can affect Older People and be skilled in how to support patients to manage them.
