We are looking for an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or CBT Therapist to join our friendly and innovative team at Healthy Minds as a Senior Locality Lead.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Locality Lead you will provide a direct highly specialist psychological therapies service to a designated locality team and contribute to the development and delivery of Step 3 interventions across the service. You will also be actively involved in ensuring waits for treatment are kept to a minimum and contribute to the ongoing identification and implementation of continuing professional development across the Step 3 team.
You will also have line management responsibilities and work as part of the service leadership team. You will be guided by the Clinical Lead, the Deputy Clinical Lead and Service Manager to ensure the services which are delivered are of a high quality and meet national guidance as well as meeting local and nationally agreed plans.
You will be given regular expert clinical supervision, managerial supervision and access to an extensive CPD training programme.

The Healthy Minds service follows a hybrid working pattern, currently aiming for staff on average to work for 2 days in a Trust office or clinic and 3 days from home.
Our two main bases are centrally located within Aylesbury and High Wycombe, and we use additional clinic space around the county. Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes is essential.

- Registered with the HCPC and accredited with the BABCP or UKCP registered psychotherapist, BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist (if not then willingness to apply for BABCP accreditation during first year in post.)
- Doctoral level or equivalent qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology. Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.

- Substantial assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical Psychologist, counselling psychologist or equivalent, delivering evidence-based psychological therapy with adults including post-qualification experience working at a Highly Specialist level.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of patient groups, across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity, including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and threat of physical abuse.
