Would you like a Receptionist/Administrator job with a difference? We are looking to recruit one Full time member to join our GP Practice.
The Luther Street Medical Centre is based in the heart of Oxford City, are keen to hear from individuals interested in joining a unique Administrative / Reception team who have an interest in services for homeless people.
This is a special administrative / reception role, which can be demanding, challenging and requires skill to handle all contacts with confidence, compassion, patience and professionalism. It sits within a larger team that is extremely supportive and together we all make a real difference in the community.
So, if you have admin experience, preferably from within a Health Care or Social Care background and are interested in working in this particular patient area, this could be the opportunity for you and just the team member we are looking for!
Main duties of the job
The Reception & Admin Assistant will assist the clinical team, ensuring they are aware of all patients and highlighting any individuals that require urgent medical care.
Good communication skills are essential together with high levels of emotional resilience. In return you will receive support and development from the team and the Trust itself, such as continuing professional development.
You will also use the Egton Medical Information Systems (EMIS) appointment system on a daily basis to assist the clinical team as well as other day to day administration for the reception area.
You will have an opportunity to work with supportive teams and committed colleagues.
