We are seeking a motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our fast paced and dynamic CAMHS Crisis and Home treatment team; We'd really like to find an enthusiastic, caring individual with experience in working with Children or Adults in a mental health setting.
We welcome applications from you, whether you have experience already, or if you are newly/recently qualified, as a development post, you will be given intensive supervision, skills and training to develop into a Senior mental health practitioner role.
Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team you will bedelivering high quality care and inputting into clinical pathway developments, as well as contributing to the assessment and treatment of young people who have presented to the CAMHS Crisis and Home treatment team.
Main duties of the job
CAMHS Crisis and Home treatment team work closely with other Child and Adolescent mental health services within Oxfordshire and is under the urgent care pathway provision all are provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
We offer a range of programmes and evidence-based treatments to assist a patient's return to health using both 1:1 treatments and group work.
The main duties of this post are to work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering and evaluating intensive community treatment for children and young people in Oxfordshire, experiencing a mental health crisis.
This will involve opportunities to hold your own caseload of patients to support the delivery of evidenced based interventions for wide range of presenting difficulties.
Clinicians will receive internal and external training and frequent high-quality supervision.
