Job summary

The Mental Health Research Delivery Team are delighted to offer the exciting position of North Oxon AMHT Clinical Research Assistant.

The successful applicant will be based in the North Adult Mental Health Team working across the Banbury and Witney bases. This position would be ideal suited to someone with a passion for improving treatment for mental illnesses.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role are to recruit patients into a broad portfolio of research studies. Clinical Research Assistants within the team work across a range of studies providing support with recruitment, study delivery and set up.

  • All new starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process, aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale
  • Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
