Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated full time Band 5 Occupational Therapist, to work within our female low secure forensic service. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be able to start in a band 5 role and develop, with support, to a band 6 senior Occupational Therapist.
This role includes RSU Allowance of £1,446 per annum on top of your salary.
Main duties of the job
As an Occupational Therapist you will manage a defined caseload and provide Occupational Therapy that is evidence based and follows client centred principles. This will include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating the outcome of interventions and documenting all stages of the process.
You will develop skills and knowledge through participation in the Flyer (preceptorship) Programme and other post-graduate opportunities.

We are an innovative service, developing and strengthening our provision to include a wide spectrum of interventions including sensory assessments, vocational opportunities, links with the Recovery College, and more.
