Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive therapy team in the CommunityHospital inpatient Service based in Abbey Ward, Abingdon Community Hospital. The service provides inpatient physical rehabilitation toolder adults with multifactorial health needs.We are inviting applications from Occupational Therapists who are eager to develop their clinical practice within innovative and supportivemultidisciplinary teams, treating patients with a variety of clinical conditions in an inpatient setting. This post may require cross site cover to other Community Hospitals at times of staff absence and service demand.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve the supervision and training of students, junior colleagues and be involved in teaching of multidisciplinary staff. We haveexcellent CPD opportunities available and you will be encouraged to participate in service development. You will be integral to the delivery of theOccupational Therapy service to community hospitals and support effective discharge planning of patients to either their own homes or alternativesettings.
