We are a friendly and adaptive mental health team who cover an adult patient community within the areas of Bicester, Kidlington, Summertown, Banbury Road & Luther Street and this role will have a base at Bicester and Headington.
We are looking for passionate nurses and OT's who can make a positive difference to Adults with mental health conditions. The team at Oxford Health will actively support you to flourish in your role with regular supervision and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills through post qualification learning. We have several opportunities throughout the week when our passionate team meet to share challenges, ideas and solutions.

Main duties of the job
This role is open to Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) who have experience of working in adult mental health services.
You will take part in planning and delivering meaningful, evidence based and high quality care for our patients. You will need to be a highly motivated practitioner who has experience of mental health services and can demonstrate the ability to initiate and manage your work effectively. The team is highly supportive and committed to delivering high quality patient care.
You will be able to work autonomously, with a caseload of patients with whom you will engage and offer the recommended treatment and support. You will have experience of assessing and planning treatment with service users. You will also be able to assess and manage risk, including use of Safeguarding processes.
There are lots of development opportunities offered including facilitating groups such as MBT/CBT based interventions. The MDT consists of Medics, Psychological Therapists, Social Workers, OTs, RMNs and support workers, as well as embedded workers from the third sector to support with employment, housing and social needs. We have embedded Peer Support Workers within the teams to promote the power of lived experience and ensure that the gap between patient and clinician is bridged.

The team working broadly in accordance with The Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) model of care. Team members also participate in being duty worker about once a week. The service is open Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00 excluding bank holidays.
The City and North East Oxon Adult Mental Health Team's main base is at the Warneford Hospital, a stones throw from the centre of Oxford and the dreamy spires.
Aspen Team provide care for the residents of Oxford City, we have a diverse patient population, with close links to the two Universities.
The wider team is split into three Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) teams; Willow, Oak, and Aspen, which are aligned to local Primary Care Network patches.
In Aspen Team we cover a large geographical area, and therefore a candidate with access to a vehicle to use for work purposes would be well suited to the role.
