Are you interested in working in a new innovative service delivering Tier 4 hospital intervention as a day service with no overnight patients?
Come and be a part of the team to help introduce a brand new CAMHS Tier 4 Day Hospital in High Wycome for young people with a range of mental health conditions including eating disorders.
We are looking for a motivated individual to deliver high quality patient centred care and improve experiences for young people. You will be supported by working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe, effective and compassionate centred care. Whilst working closely with young people, families and carers to ensure the delivery of therapeutic interventions, clinical assessments and the planning for effective discharge.

Main duties of the job

The service will provideevidence basedpsychiatric,nursing, psychologicalandtherapeutic interventions for young people under the age of 18 presenting withsevere and complex mental health difficultiesassessed as requiring Tier 4 level care,includingwhere these disorders are co-morbid with neurodevelopmental diagnoses:
- Serious risk of harm to self; suicidal thoughts and behaviour.
- Emotional dysregulation and symptoms that would be best described as emerging unstable personality disorder.
- Eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa,ARFID and disordered eating in the context of emotional dysregulation,trauma,and other mental disorder.
- Low mood, depressive disorder.
- Early onset psychosis.
- Severe OCD, complex PTSD.
- Other psychological disturbance that may adversely affect functioning but falls outside typical diagnostic criteria.
You will be expected to demonstrate effective support and operational management and clinical leadership in the following areas:
