Job summary

We are looking to appoint an exceptional leader with a significant level of nursing experience to take the role of Lead Nurse within CAMHS Eating Disorder service.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated, person-focused and experienced individual.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have a proven track record in nursing leadership and should have the ability to lead by example, motivate and empower others by virtue of expert clinical work, leadership, education and training, practice development and research.

They will play a fundamental role in ensuring effective outcomes and high-quality care for those using the eating disorder services in Oxfordshire.

By inspiring a culture of high performance and continuous quality improvement in teams, the post holder will ensure the sustained provision of high-quality services and standards for our young people, their carers and families.

About us

This is an exciting time to join our service - we're currently developing new care pathways within the team, and are looking for a strong leader to help us achieve our vision.

You'll have demonstrable nursing and service development experience within the NHS or related fields, and significant experience of working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve service improvement.

The main focus of the role will be to work as an expert practitioner and consultant within CAMHS Eating Disorder service by providing an advanced level of specialist knowledge and intervention to the service's most complex young people with eating disorders and to their families, developing services within the eating disorder service.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will be required to work both independently, using initiative, and alongside professional leads, clinical colleagues, Trust senior managers and key partner organisations.

We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals with the energy and passion to drive change in order to realise our vision. In return you will have full support from your line manager and the wider senior multi-disciplinary team and a development programme designed to enhance your career.

Youll have the opportunity to participate with school nurses, general nurses with our local hospital and offer specialist supervision and guidance.

You will have the opportunity to be part of a fantastic multidisciplinary team of staff who are genuinely committed to improving the lives of our young person and their families.
