The new model is based on ease of access, getting advice, consultation, support, and specialist clinical pathways.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work alongside a full time consultant and an experienced multidisciplinary team, which includes nurses, dietician, psychologists, family therapist, assistant psychologists and paediatricians. The multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive experience in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders in children and adolescents. The successful candidate will be able to obtain supervised experience in family based therapy, CBT, group work and psychopharmacology.

We are seeking to appoint a full time Specialty Doctor to join our Eating Disorders team in the Buckinghamshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health service. The post is mainly based at the Sue Nichols Centre in Aylesbury, but the role is countywide and may require clinical activity at other bases such as High Wycombe or Amersham.
