Job summary
Are you an experienced registered nurse who wants to support those new to practice? We are looking for empathetic nurses who want to help those new to the profession and working at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. This role is for up to 15 hours a week supporting newly qualified nurses across the Trust. Those qualified to work in mental health settings will be particularly desirable.
Main duties of the job
You would be an advocate for the profession and meet with newly qualified nurses in their first year of practice either in groups or singly to help them find their feet and provide them with an independent voice to help them to resolve issues that may have arisen. This role is one which will help retention within the Trust and requires enthusiasm and knowledge of the profession gained through experience in practice.

Working in Learning and Development you will work with a team of enthusiastic staff who work with a range of different staff both in the classroom and clinical practice to ensure that they can develop and provide the best possible patient care. All Learning and Development staff work together as part of a wider team whilst focusing on their specific roles to help the development of staff, in this case newly qualified staff.
