Job summary

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our multi-disciplinary inpatient and community teams based in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

You will have a good knowledge base, excellent communication skills and a flexible and positive attitude. You should have a caring, non-judgmental and inclusive attitude and be committed to the delivery of safe, high quality care.

The Trust offers a development band 5 to 6 pathway for Occupational Therapists working within both community and inpatient services.

Main duties of the job

  • Our Occupational Therapists maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for our patients
  • Our Occupational Therapists participate in individual and group therapies
  • Our Occupational Therapists encourage patients' participation in the assessment, planning and evaluation processes related to their needs
  • Our team members contribute to the development of the Trust's services

Please note that there is a financial and pastoral support package available to internationally educated Occupational Therapists who are looking to relocate to the UK.

Please note:

  • New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
  • Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
