Job summary
The successful applicant will be part of a team of 3 Breast surgeons in delivering high quality service in symptomatic and screening Breast disease to the catchment area. This vacancy arises as part of an expansion of breast cancer and reconstructive surgery and creates an opportunity to enhance and develop our services for the community.

Main duties of the job
Participate fully in the provision of Breast services
Provide highest possible levels of patient care
Work as an active member of the Breast team
Actively remain clinically competent
Work closely with Multidisciplinary teams
Activate, particulate and undertake audits
Teach staff / medical students
Work to all trust policies and procedures
Work flexibly
Responsible to: Chief Executive/Medical Director of Northampton General Hospital Trust and at local level to the Clinical Director for Surgery.
