Job summary

To provide administrative support to the Senior Team Leader and Administration Manager.

To work within our busy outpatient team to ensure efficient running of outpatient clinics.

Responsible for co-ordinating and booking all respiratory outpatient clinics working

closely with a team of consultants, Nurses and administration staff.

This would be into include taking/making calls to patients, managing waiting lists,

booking appointments, e-referrals and ERS on a daily basis.

Excellent organisational skills will be required for this post as you will need to

Communicate well with all levels of staff and public.

To undertake effective administrative duties as part of the admin team required.

The post holder will be required to work as part of the administration team and

Provide cross cover during periods of staff absence withing their existing teams.

This support should normally be provided during the core hours of 08:00am and

17:00pm.

However, to ensure alignment with Direct Clinical Care time of the Clinicians for whom they support flexibility from the core hours may be required and will be determined.

Reviewing all Choose & Book, Directly Bookable services and appts booked by patients online and via GP surgeries.

Daily maintenance of ERS

Assist with the coordination of clinics or lists to ensure effective time management.

Provide general administrative services as required by the department.

Deal with telephone or face to face enquiries within agreed limits and take appropriate actions

Liaise with other hospital departments, GP's and other health care agencies when required
