Job summary

This role is based within the Staff Support Services and the post holder would be required to manage a case load of individual and team referrals with wellbeing needs following an incident. You will also have autonomy to complete service development project work and represent the service at wellbeing events.

Trauma risk management: TRiM explanation and responsibilities:

The post holder will lead the TRiM team at Kettering General Hospital, this is an evidence-based approach to post incident support. The successful candidate will already be TRiM trained. TRiM is a trauma-focused peer support system designed to help people who have experienced a traumatic, or potentially traumatic, event. The post holder will responsible for coordinating and facilitating TRiM responses, with the support of the service lead at NGH and TRiM practitioners within the organisation.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide the service with a professional focus for leadership and clinical excellence. The post holder will act as a role model for clinical leadership; setting and upholding agreed clinical standards and enabling staff to receive high quality evidence-based care. The post holder will coordinate referrals within the KGH SoS mailbox, and link with the wider occupational health and wellbeing services, local services, and hospital staff focused services.

There will be multiple opportunities for professional development, this will be dependent on prior experience and qualifications. We are committed to providing the highest quality services for our staff and ongoing professional development for the whole team is an integral part of our service model.

Co-ordination and liaison of care between services both internal and external.

Coordinating TRiM (trauma risk management) response to incidents within the hospital (we will provide further training for this).
