We are also due to move into our brand new state of the art Critical Care unit by June 2022.
Alongside clinical duties you will be allowed to take fellow days to work on your projects from your chosen area. The fellowships we currently have running include:1. Medical Education2. Leadership and management3. Patient Safety4. Research

Main duties of the job
Applications are invited from highly motivated and dynamic Junior Doctors to apply for a clinical fellow post in regional anaesthesia to our friendly and busy Anaesthesia and Critical Care Unit at NGH.
This post will be at ST3 level (first year registrar) and is Fixed Term for 24 months
This post is pre-approved by GMC for full registration for international medical graduates. GMC approval has been granted in September 2020 after robust and evidence based process has been assured.
This role will enable junior doctors in anaesthesia to strength their interest in regional anaesthesia by developing skills to perform ultrasound guided regional blocks and give them valuable opportunity to undertake audit, research, teaching and service improvement projects.
About us
We have excellent and experienced faculty of trainers in the field of regional anaesthesia. We have more than 7 years' experience in running advance programme in regional anaesthesia for East midland school of anaesthesia trainees. We conduct simulation based workshops and courses locally and internationally. We encourage candidates to present quality improvement projects, case studies to ESRA (European Society of Regional Anaesthesia Conference) and RA-UK (Regional Anaesthesia UK Conference). We also help prepare them for EDRA (European Diploma for Regional Anaesthesia) exam. You will also be afforded training opportunities as outlined later in this document, however please note that clinical fellow posts are not recognised for specialist training. Despite being non training post £500/year is allocated towards clinical fellow posts.
NGH is one of the largest employers in the area and all of our divisions are committed to doing things better, with more efficiency as we update, modernise, and advance. We have also entered into a Group Model with neighbouring Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
NGH also has a large library, gym with swimming pool, and a brand new entrance with Marks and Spencer, Subway and Costa on site.
