Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our audiology service . You should be a motivated and experienced audiologist who is keen to develop your skills and help advance the Audiology Department at Kettering General Hospital.
Our paediatric and adult Audiology services operate within the same department, although there may be scope to work in adults, this is a predominantly paediatric role.
Main duties of the job
In this full time role, the candidate will be expected to perform age-appropriate audiological testing on children from 6 months -18 years. Experience in objective testing methods would be welcome.
We are looking for someone to lead in Visual Reinforcement clinics, making clinical decision based on results.
The candidate will also be required to perform paediatric habilitative verification and validation for children hearing aid fittings.
Adult assessment and rehabilitation experience will also be welcome, as where necessary completion of direct referrals, fittings, repairs and ENT cover may be required.
