Job summary
This is a really exciting time to join us at Kettering General Hospital. We are seeking to recruit a specialist pharmacist who will get the opportunity to work in a highly specialised area and develop their clinical and leadership skills.
Applicants from pharmacists that have completed or are working towards completion of a Pharmacy Clinical Diploma are welcome. In addition, we would actively support completion of the non-medical prescribing qualification, subject to funding.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will develop clinical skills within paediatrics and neonatal clinical pharmacy by working closely with the clinical medical teams and attending ward rounds. Directorate level work will be gradually introduced to allow the post holder to develop high level skills required for professional development.
As well as the clinical part of the role, the post holder will have responsibilities within education and training to support the E&T team to deliver high quality training to the wider pharmacy workforce, nurses and doctors.
