Job summary
An exciting job-share opportunity has arisen to work within the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre. The successful post holder will be required to manage and deliver the comprehensive cancer information and support service within Kettering NHS Foundation Trust for people affected by cancer including patients, carers' family and friends, as well as health and social care professionals.
The successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible with proven leadership experience working both autonomously as well as part of a friendly and supportive team of staff and volunteers.
Integral to this role is engagement with service users and key stake-holders across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire as well as the Northamptonshire Integrated Care system, in order to improve cancer information and support for all.

(Please present a 10 minute power-point presentation on the role of the information and support service manager and how it supports patients through their cancer pathway)
Main duties of the job
As per the job description attached but additionally there will be occasions when the post-holder will be required to attend out-of-hours events as well as those arranged and scheduled at weekends.
