Head of People Partnering, 8c (subject to AFC job matching/evaluation)

Our People Partnering service is responsible for working in partnership with leaders across UHN to achieve shared and Trust objectives through the ambitious design, delivery and implementation of the best people solutions, in line with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan.

As our Head of Service, you will be responsible for ensuring the service provides expert Human Resources leadership by partnering and coaching senior leaders to effectively manage and transform services to enable the delivery of excellent care for our patients and an excellent place to work for our colleagues. You will lead and support our Partnering team to integrate with our divisions, working closely with teams across the People function to support improvements to divisional performance and colleague experience.

We do need to strengthen our partnership working and if you have proven experience of delivering transformation in the People Partnering profession, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

To be credible in this role you will need significant experience of leading across the People Profession, with a background including employee engagement and colleague experience, business planning and delivery, leading organisational change, partnership working and complex employee relations. You will be able to develop people strategies and ensure those strategies are translated into a programme of work that will make a difference to our colleagues and in turn to our patients.
