Job summary
This is an exciting role for a dedicated pharmacy technician to work within the hospital, looking to expand their clinical knowledge, and to provide patient centered care.
You will be working on busy wards and within our dispensary expediating discharge, using your knowledge and skills to prioritize your workload, and ensuring patient safety.
Main duties of the job
This role is ideal for an organized and highly motivated individual with the ability to think on their feet. They will require great communication & interpersonal skills, as they will be working with staff of all types and grades across the hospital and within our dispensary.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for customer service and team work that is able to work under pressure whilst ensuring accuracy in all aspects of technical medicines management.
You can expect to be involved in all aspects of medicines management, including dispensing medications, screening drug charts, medicines reconciliation and patient counselling.
For this role you will need to be a Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC or working towards being registered in the next 6 months.
