We are a 27 Bedded Acute Medical/Cardio-Respiratory Ward caring for Acutely Ill Adults.

We are looking to recruit passionate, motivated, innovative, dynamic & driven nurses to join our team. You will have excellent communication skills & a passion for your role and in improving patient care.

You will be required to deliver quality care in line with the Trust care values and we as a ward will value you & offer training specific to the needs of the ward, and you will have opportunity to develop your clinical skills in Acute Illness Management.

The Trust offers a lot of opportunity for our nurses to develop in all aspects of their practice through internal and external training, for care standards to be maintained and evidence based practices to be delivered.

Main duties of the job

To undertake the care of respiratory patients, support colleagues, and be an active team member on Harrowden A. To undertake clinical skills as required. To utilise communication skills with patients, families and colleagues. To support the ward management team in delivering a high standard of patient care and to assist them to improve the quality and patient safety in the ward environment. To work closely with specialist nurses and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
